Stavros Mamalis was born in Markopoulo, Athens in 1950. At the age of 13 he started in jewellery making and at the age of 15 he had his first experince working with watches.

By 1970 he is mostly concetrated in the watch industry doing repairs for automatic and mechanical watches.

His son , Spiros, after his graduation from the aristotelian school of economics and the watchmaking  school , is now running the family business, combining his father's expertise with his own technical training.
